Healthy eating and living is a challenge. A challenge, which really shouldn't be.
For a fifteen year old teen like myself, it's something extremely incoherent. Why do we need to even consider our daily calorie intake, or even wonder if we are supplying our bodies with the right amount of vitamins? Because I know starting from now, the habits we make now and the decisions we face are what make us in the future.
To me, eating healthy is always on my mind, as I am positive it is with many others. Yet, it's simply so easy to break down to a Big Mac Combo for only night (which, by the way the sandwich itself is claimed to be only an astonishing 540 calories). No I am not trying to guilt you into anything, in fact I really believe that's the worst way of going about a healthy lifestyle. You should be working to reach a goal because you want to... not because you have too.
Regarding goals, we should make one. It will gives us motivation and a push. Although I have a goal in mind, I also have a list of things I want to develop through my diet, such as watching and balancing what I eat throughout the day. For this example,I know it sounds a little ridiculous now as a fifteen old almost watching her diet, but it just gives me a sense what I'm eating, and how much I am eating. Another thing I consistently do is write what I've eaten throughout the day in a Notebook, like a food diary. These are two very simple and easy tasks I've grown accustomed to just to ensure a balance in my diet.
Just remember your goal, and write it down (it helps, especially if you forget things easily).
Throughout your experience, as well as mine, I will also be trying a ton of new recipes and sharing them so you can try them as well.
